The origen of the chocolate

The leyend says that rhe chocolate when from the most beautiful tree os the paradise of the Aztecs.
The chocolate comnes from the plant of cacao, the Mayas started to cultivate more than 2500 years ago.
It could only be eaten by the nobles and kings.
 Hernand Cortés brought to spain in 1524.

Glossary: Unit 1

-To take the bull by the horns: Means to deal with a difficult situation in a brave and firm way.
-Two heads are  better than one: Means that when two people work together they are more likely  to salve a problem that one person going it alone.
-To keep your head above water: Means you are just managing to survive despite not, having much money.
-It's easy as a pie: If something is very easy.
-Pie-eyed: If someone is very drunk.
-To have a finger in many pies: I means you are involved in lots of different activities.
-A bad egg: In English if we want to say that someone is bad or dishonest we can call her/him a bad egg.
-Don't pull all your eggs in one basket: You should never rely on only onne  plan in case it goes wrong.
-He got an egg on his face: If someone makes a mistake whitch makes him/her look stupid, we can say this expression.
-Full of beans: Someone is full of energy.
-I haven't got a bean: You don't have money at all.
-Spill the beans: I we want to tell us something secret, we can say to them "spill the beans".
-It's a hot potato: If there is a delicate issure and people can't agree we call it "a 
hot potato".
-They're like two beans in a podIf two people look very similar we use this expression.

-Is as good as a chocolate teapot: In English is something is completely useless we say this expression.
-He's gone bananas: In English if someone is very emocional and start starts shouting and behaving in a crazy way, we can say this expression.
-It's a case os sour grapes: In English nis someone pretends not to be impressed by something because she/he feels jealous we use this expression.
-A second bite of the cherry: In English if we try to do something a second time because we failed at first, we use this expression.
-There are plenty more fish in the sea: It means that are other choices in a situation. It is often said to comfort someone who had a romantic break up.
-The icing on the cake: It is used to refer to something good which is added to an already good thing or situation.
-It's just not cricket: Is used in English to say that something is unfair or dishonest.
-To toy with(somebody or something): Means not to take someone's feeling seriouly.
-A toyboy:Is the younger boyfriend of an older person.

-Like a ton of bricks:  It is used to express something that is very heavy. This expression can be used literally (to describe a heavy weight) or idiomatically(to describe a great surprise or something that is overweight).
-To fly the nest: Means to leave your parents' house for the first time to go and live somwhere else.
-A nest egg:Is an amount os money you have save in the future.
-I wasn't born yesterday: If someone is telling you a very obvious lie you can use this expression.
-To have a whale of a time: Means to have a lot fun while doing something.
-Size of a whale: It is an impolite way of saying they are lange of overweight.
